HoopDream™ Essential Over-The-Door Mini Hoop Set

This hoop overall works. The unfortunate things about it include: you have to “play a game”. There’s no mode where it just counts your shots. Each mode 1 player 60 seconds, mode 2 2 players each 60 seconds, mode 3 30 seconds. After each mode it doesn’t keep counting baskets… kind of a bummer if you are practicing and don’t need to have reset a game every time which you have to do with the remote. For this reason of functionality I have it 3 stars. Also the pads aren’t big enough to reach the door with the hangers so it bangs (see our green foam). Colors are cool and the adjustable height is nice.

A strong, durable little indoor hoop that is perfect for teen boys. Bought this for a gift for 3 teen boys. The boys were able to follow the instructions to put this together without adult assistance. It did require an additional screwdriver in addition to the one included as it was not the correct size for all of the hardware. This was not a big deal. The hardware is all metal and very durable. The foam pads on the rear of the backboard are important to put on to protect your door. So far this little hoop is holding up really well and the boys have been busy shooting hoops in their bedroom instead of playing video games, so thats a win!! The boys using this hoop are ages 12-17 and this is perfect for this age group. Also loved that the hoop came with 3 balls and an inflator. Great indoor hoop for the value.

We got this indoor basketball hoop for ny son and it’s been a total hit. It fits neatly over the door, the net and backboard are sturdy, and it’s been surviving toy-tossing, sibling competition, and all the energy. The height is adjustable so both the 10-year-old and the 12 year-old can play easily. The installation was quick (just a few minutes) and no drilling needed, which I loved as the mom managing chaos. If I had to mention one thing: the door frame pads could-have-been a little thicker to avoid any scuffs we put a felt strip behind and it’s fine now. But otherwise no complaints.Great way to burn some energy indoors (especially when it’s raining or after homework!). Definitely recommend for anyone with active kids or tight-space homes.

This is a very sturdy basketball goal. All metal. It assembled easily, although I used a ratchet to tight bolts on goal itself, instead of the wrench provided. The balls are a nice weight, and easily inflated. I will definitely keep the provided pump to reinflate them as I’m sure, like all balls they will lose air over time. I am very picky, and am very pleased with the goal. I have 6 grandsons under age 9 and when they are all at our house for a week over the holidays, this will help deplete energy!

My kids really like this one. It’s been holding up really well, and with 2 kids, that’s saying a lot, because most mini hoops are junk within a few weeks. Liked it so much we bought a 2nd one.

my son loves it for his dorm room

Got it as a birthday gift and was an instant hit with my nephew. So, we ended up getting more for gifts. It comes with 3 balls that are perfect size for toddles or young boys. It is heavy and will be a good wall mount. Since my nephews are both 5, their parents only hung it lower to get them used to playing with it. But highly recommend.

Fun to have. My 5 year old loves it.

Shipping taking longer than anticipated(greater than 7 days longer than expected), which appears to be a reoccurring possibility when ordering this product. Unclear if because of courier constraints or product packaging quality. Will update review, once or if product arrives.Update: hoop arrived. Required about 15 minutes to assemble. No protective padding on metal loops, if you plan to hang on anything other than a door. The metal hangers are nice for adjusting height of hoop, but also make the backboard rattle a little bit on harder shots. Remote only works about 50% of the time. All in all, it’s a decent hoop. Value for the price lighting and mini games available are ok, but not overly impressive.

Easy to put together and hangs on the door. Put padding on the back so when it hits the door it isn't loud

9 year old step son loves this thing!

Great quality and size for a dorm room. Fit over the closet door and easy to put together.

Incredible product. Using this the practice for my NBA tryout at the end of the month. Would recommend if you’re looking to play like Mike.

Very good good christmas gift for my son he loved it! Muy buen regalo para mi hijo le encanto!

Was a big hit with my 8 yr old great grandson.

Easy to put together in very well-made. I use it in my classroom as part of a review game and the kids love it. Would recommend

Easy to set up, my son broke it within the week. The balls where pretty easy to pop

This was a gift for my 12 y/o son. Very durable and comes with foam to put on backside to avoid scratching up the doors. Cousins and friends have dunked the ball many times and it holds up to the weight the put on the hoop. He didn't really like the scoreboard keeping count, stating it was annoying and too loud.

We love this dragon mini basketball hoop! It was easy to set up and feels very sturdy—the backboard holds up well even with lots of active play. The dragon design is bold and fun, and it really stands out in the playroom. The hoop stays secure whether it’s mounted on a door or wall, and the ball that came with it is just the right size for younger kids. Great quality, creative theme, and lots of fun for indoor play. Highly recommend for any little dragon fans or future ballers!

It was ok. The kids played it a lot and it held up for a good amount, but it just feels a little flimsy.
